SmartLPR Access at Kigali International Airport

Kigali International Airport is the main airport in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. This airport is the main gateway to all the country's destinations, and also serves as a transit airport for Goma and Bukavu in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The airport is located in the Kanombe suburbs east of Kigali, approximately 12km from the city centre.

Currently, the SmartLPR Access licence plate recognition cameras provided by Quercus Technologies are responsible for providing control and security at the entrances and exits of its car park, preventing ticket fraud and theft of vehicles on the premises. These cameras recognise and identify the number plates of vehicles entering or leaving the premises and record movements originating in the car park at all times.

Thanks to Quercus Technologies' intelligent parking system, its customers can take the car park experience to a higher level, improving automation and traffic flow on the premises. By promoting user satisfaction and gathering information to further improve parking.
