Another annual edition of Quercus Technologies' Company Meeting comes to end
From January 13th to 17th, the annual Company Meeting of Quercus Technologies took place. This event is an opportunity to reflect on the trajectory of the company during the previous year, to share ideas, to inform about any novelties, and, last but not least, to establish the business strategy for the next year. Meetings between different departments are also held throughout the week. These meetings are especially relevant because they favor communication between employees who usually see the economic activity of the company from very different points of view. These debates are complementary and thus enrich the participants, offering the CEO a more global and precise vision of the time the company is living and the best strategy to follow from now on.
The Company Meeting is also a time to reinforce the values advocated by Quercus: cooperation, common work, the pursuit of excellence, curiosity, as well as, the ability to reflect and seek the best of each other in order to overcome difficulties. Therefore, all employees took part in a Team Building activity in the hill range near Reus.
But not everything is serious! Fun is also part of the equation. It is very important to Quercus Technologies that employees are happy working for in the company and that they create links to each other. With this objective different activities were organized: a cooking workshop to learn how to make healthy tuppers, a go-kart racing, a video games and karaoke afternoon, and a football game. Different opportunities to get to know colleagues in a more relaxed context.
Finally, the Company Meeting concluded on Friday, after a particularly intense day. Al departments gave a presentation about the previous year performance, the objectives achieved, the difficulties overcome and the line to follow in the face of this 2020 to the whole staff. The CEO, Jordi Moragas took stock during his speech before closing the session, when he also informed about the company’s global results. It has been, without a doubt, an intense week for Quercus. No time to lose now for the next step, to put into practice everything learned in order to keep moving forward in 2020.
